2017 a Year of Massive Growth for Resolute Technology Solutions
Welcoming a New Director, Promoting Within, and Significant Team Growth
We are just four months into 2017 and it is already shaping up to be a year of massive growth here at Resolute Technology Solutions. We’ve brought on a new Director, promoted four people to new roles including Manager and Senior Consultant, hired more than ten new team members, and are launching a new student co-op program later this year.
Trish Bishop, joins Resolute as Director of Service Delivery, ensuring all Resolute service areas are aligned for growth and success.

We’ve hired eight new team members in the last two months (bringing the count to 64 employees) including a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist who will help us continue to grow to meet increasing client demand. A main area that’s expanded is our bilingual IT support as part of our managed services team which is crucial for supporting clients in Winnipeg and across Canada. We had to build out more of our office space and restructure to make room for all the new people. It’s likely we’ll have to extend to another floor of our building if we maintain this recent level of hiring but we’ll continue to scale to meet client demand. If our clients need more services; our team will keep growing to provide them.
Despite the rapid growth, one thing our Resolute President Rod De Vos wants to make clear is that the values and the culture that the company was founded on in 2005 aren’t going to change.

For years, we’ve had a successful partnership with the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg for our Developer Student Co-op program. Lisa Wise, Co-op Coordinator from the U of M said,
“Resolute has been a huge supporter and advocate of our program for so long and we truly value the partnership.”
Now, we’re starting a second Student Co-op program centered around infrastructure-related learning that we will extend out to educational institutions that are teaching network/device management and other infrastructure-related courses.
We got the opportunity to discuss these exciting changes earlier this month with Greg Mackling and Brett Megarry on CJOB.
We had a lot of fun discussing what we do and the types of businesses we work with. We covered what it means to be Resolute, what makes a good app developer, the benefit of forming partnerships over just providing a service, fundamentals of IT security and a whole lot more.
There are a lot of big changes happening at Resolute and we’re excited to see what the rest of 2017 and the future holds!
